Hello all,
I mostly lurk and occasionally ask a question and I thank all in advance for any help. Here goes... I just bought the Ultra Plus Pak USB after dealing with limited disk space for some time. My questions:
1. Do I need to d/l and install the Realtracks or Realdrums updates or am I already up to date? I just purchased on Dec. 11.
2. Do I now have everything? Actually I thought I would have it all with the Ultraplus Pak and then realized that the Andy Laverne and Jeff Lorber soloist sets are extra. So if I get those soloist sets (12,13,14,15) will I then "have it all." Not that I need it all - I mostly play jazz standards but having "everything" is part of my compulsive nature, I guess. By the way I heard/saw some nice lines in the Andy Laverne demo stuff.
3. Is there any bundled pricing for the above mentioned soloist sets? I could not see anything on the PG website.

Yolu should visit the updates page rather frequently when any new release first comes out, download and install those updates. Every two days is likely enough to check.
To find out what you have, inside BiaB is a nice wizard for that under the Help menu, choose "What Addons do I have?" and get a nice report on what's installed and what isn't.
The Laverne soloist set is a separate deal.

I find that "what addons do I have" is NOT a good indicator for realtracks in the help menu. It will not tell you if you have some realtracks missing, probably maybe due to the fact that some realtrack sets have 2 parts.
It was showing up as having all the realtracks whereas when I used the NA filter in the realtracks dialog some realtracks were showing as NA.
Just reinstalled them again.

There's so much stuff now it really is hard to keep track of it all. Those soloists are definitely worth it and I recommend that you pick them up.
I almost deleted them a few weeks ago during the beta testing. I bought them some time ago and they're in my C drive install and didn't notice they were not included on the Ultra Pak HD until just recently. I know I probably have them on a DVD somewhere but I'm not sure, I may have downloaded them. If I deleted them, that would be another major excercise finding them again. I need to do some housekeeping on my C drive but once again I'm afraid to just delete that install because I wonder what else may not be on that Ultra Pak.
This brings up a question for the forum. Can I simply open the bb folder on my C drive, hit copy and paste it into the bb folder on the external drive?
Then when Windows says certain files already exist, just say no to all and have it copy what's left?

Give it a try, I don't know about the Laverne and Lorber soloists, they may require an install file and need to write to registry or they may not.
