I played around with a song I inputted for nearly a day and no issues. Now I am getting this issue. Once I get the error, I click okay and hit play again and it indicates 'Playback generation is already in progress.' Nothing happens after that. Simply won't play. Any thoughts? I believe it happened after I tried changing the style.
I'm running XP if that matters. Thanks to everyone in advance for your help.

*Try reboot of the coomputer first.
*If that fails, try Opts. -> Return to Factory Settings inside BiaB.
*Sometimes a songfile can become corrupted when there is an error or a crash/freeze and the only option is to hit New and rebuild that file from scratch.

Hey Mac. Thanks for your help. I have tried rebooting several times. No dice. Tried resetting, same problem. Tried reentering the song. Same error. Any thoughts? I was running the program from my harddrive before and now I'm running it from the USB drive and am still getting the error.

Okay, I may have figured out an issue. I had opened the file earlier just to write down the chords but didn't play the song. Simply opening the file caused the issue to repeat. I opened BB again and just reentered the chords and all is well so far. Will post again if it repeats. Thanks.

Errors encountered when the program first opens are often due to "rogue" DX or VSTs in your system...
Sometimes there will be one that doesn't work and play well with pgmusic programs at startup.
Only way I know to find out is to isolate.
With VSTs, its easier, for you can copy them all to another folder and add the .dll files back one at a time and check if they let the program open.
DXi's are installed and write to registy, but they usually don't cause this problem because of that fact.

This error is making me crazy. I seem to get it if I let the song play past the "end". It doesn't happen every time but when it does happen, that is when it happens. I lose everything since the last save because if I save the file after I get the error, it saves the error in the file and I can never play the song again. Anyone have any thoughts?

*Try Return to Factory Settings but this time try the second button there, which also resets your soundcard/MIDI drivers.
*Try defragging your hard disk(s) and pay no attention to any reports that you don't need to do so at this time, that stuff assumes you are a "normal" pc user who only needs Burst speeds from disk.
*"Rogue" plugins can sometimes cause probolems. Check your plugin list, both VST and DXi to see what's there. Sometimes you have to empty out the VST folder and try inserting them back one at a time to find the culprit.
