Just got my 2010 on HDD in the mail. Been playing with it (direct from hard drive). Looks awesome. Just decided to install it on system, opened a file, pressed play and i get this error...  any ideas?

What's your operating system? Sounds like it might be Vista. If so, the first thing that I'd do is to turn OFF (thanks Mac!) the Use Access Control (UAC). This is the operation that asks if you are sure you want to give permission for copy, etc.
If that doesn't work, can you please be a little more specific as to what your system consists of.

I think Noel meant to say that you should turn UAC to OFF.
Reboot the machine.
Try to run BB again.

I am also getting an Access Violation error, but only when I try to add a "D" part to a User Created Multi-Style.
(Which didn't work anyway. More on that later.)
Version: 2010 with latest build
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium

Same issue solved like this:
Seeing as this got a lot views I thought I'd post my results. This was an HP Win 7 /64
1. I made sure that the user account had full admin privileges
2. I right clicked on the BIAB & RB icons and in the compatibility tab set:
A. Run in XP compatibility mode
B. Run as administrator
C. set this for all accounts
3. Turn off UAC
4. Installed the Forte DXi--- Don't think this made a difference but thought the programs may react better ?
There has not been one "access violation" in the 3 days of continuous playing. I just let the Juke box play round & round loading 4 RTs & RDs as well.

I continue to get access violation alerts everytime I load a song withthat I saved with realtracks. If I go back and use BIAB 2009.5 I can play them but doesn't recognize any newer realtracks.

Still can't get it to work on my puter. Laptop with Vista Home Basic. Help !!! I use this for live performance every week and last saturday there were several songs that I couldn't load. Should I just wipe out Vista and load XP?
