If you add a Custom menu (along with the Tracks menu) the user can add any other menu item in it. With the Scripts menu you could run Biab AHK scripts with a command line C:\bb\Scripts\Autohotkey.exe myscript.ahk you could have scripts to do macros and GUI scripts can be set to always on top. The Scripts menu could load whatever *.ahk is in the Scripts folder.
This way rather than users wishing and waiting for something that can be made easily with AHK. All it would need is AutoHotkey.exe in the \bb\Scripts\ folder set to run as administrator.
Having a menu will allow users to easily add scripts and run them without having to know scripting or installing AutoHotkey. Like Studio One you add the scripts in the script folder and they show up in the menu.
This is just a simple script to copy and save chords and paste saved chords at the cursor pos. It will also save a whole song with Style bpm key memo choruses.. The user just put's the script in the bb\Scripts folder, it will show in the Scripts menu and run directly from there.
This is a demo example of how the Scripts menu in Biab would work, it's just reading the contents of C:\bb\Scripts for *.ahk and loads them into the menu, so you don't need to know any scripting, you just download the script to your \bb\Scripts folder and they will show in the menu. So rather than navigating through Biab menus and sub menus scripts can be made to do all that with 1 click, or as in the screenshot below you can have a GUI script. There could be a Scripts request thread in the User-to-User forum.
Sounds like this would open the path to some very interesting options!
