Hi y'all...
I'm pulling my hair (or what's left of it) trying to understand why my BB songs are cutting out at about 3 bars too early. Very frustrating.
I do my song in BB, using Real Band on 5 tracks. Nothing fancy, just a straight 3 chord country diddy. When done I play it back and it is fine.
When I put it into Cakewalk via the BB plugin and play the song it stops playing about 3 bars before the ending of the song. I play it on the stand alone VST and the same thing; stops 3 bars before the ending.
This is happening to all songs, not just the one I'm presently working on.
As I said, the song plays as it should in BB.
What could be causing the song to stop too soon in the DAW and stand alone?
Any help would be so greatly appreciated.

Are you going RealBand to the BiaB VST?
Or are you going from RealBand back to BiaB then to the VST?
Are there anything in the song that might mess it up? Things like repeats, codas, etc or is the song unfolded with non of those?

Hi Mario... thanks for the comeback.
I made a mistake when I mentioned "Real Band." Actually I'm using Real Tracks in BIAB and then dropping the finished product into Cakewalk via the PG VST.
I also thought that maybe, for instance, I set the song to have a 2 bar ending, muted a couple of instruments and then have them come back in after a few bars.
It plays out properly when played in BiaB. It also plays out once it's in Cakewalk and when played in the VST, up until the last 3 bars. The song just ends.
So I did an experiment, putting chords into BiaB without doing anything to them. Just a one chorus, 34 bar quickie. It played as it should have in BiaB but once again when using the PG VST it just stopped playing for the last 3 bars. This is a real head scratcher.

1) take the BIAB-VST out of the chain, there should have been an old school way of transferring BIAB tracks individually or in mass from BIAB to Cakewalk?
or
2) upload the BIAB file so we can talk a peak at it and try to reproduce.
I can only add that there is no similar issue with Reaper -BIAB-VST - BIAB workflow, but Cakewalk I don't know.

Hi Bobby, do you have the checkbox for "Ending" checked in the upper right of the plugin? Also, the last few chords of your song, are they greyed out?

Simon!!! You're the man!!! Turns out that the tiny "ending" box on the right wasn't checked. Everything is cool now.  I'm glad that you came to my rescue because I never would have found that on my own. I'm just curious as to how I managed to uncheck that little box. Oh well... not going to lose any sleep over it. But I'll probably start losing sleep because of it being fixed!!! Thanks so much Bobby
