Since I got BIAB 2010, I noticed all of my old songs that were saved using "Save Song with Patches and Harmony" from previous versions, have lost their patches when I open them in 2010. I get all the original patches that come with the particular Style! How is that possible and why? Has anyone else noticed it?

Haven't noticed that happening here yet.
Check your MSB and LSB spinners when you open those songs -- if the new patches you invoked were Upper Bank patches -- to see if the spinners have moved from zero or not...
Don't forget acout the Return to Factory Settings thing, too, that may do it.

Thanks for the reply MAC, but what are spinners?
My main patch changes are for the piano and the bass from "Acoustic Piano" to the "Rhodes Electric Piano", and the "Acoustic Bass" to "Finger Electric Bass"... are those considered Upper Bank? Sorry for the ignorance LOL.
I kept changing back and saving again, but upon re-opening they were back again.
Then I noticed a box next to each instrument marked "freeze" on the save dialogue and checked them which fixed the problem... is this a new feature?
[EDIT: Just tried re-opening a file and even with the freeze checked, the patches are gone back to the "Acoustic..."]
I'll try to Return to Factory Settings but just to let you know I had just installed 2010 and had not made any changes to the settings.

Did a bit more experiments...
I did a return to facory settings. That helped once but then problem happened again and return to factorysettings is no longer helping.
What I noticed now is, when I open a song previously saved with patches, the song plays correctly BUT the instruments window shows the wrong patches... i.e. for the Piano, the patch shows Acoustic Piano but it sounds like a Rhodes Electric which is what I want...!!
The sound only reverts back to Acoustic Piano if I generate the song using "Play even if tracks are frozen"...
I wonder if this is a bug that PG music created when they introdued this freeze feature?

"Spinners" = the little up/down arrows next to the little numerical value windows.
I didn't make that up.
Just like, "Radio Buttons" describe the bullets next to the Track Names when you select a track.
