hello im having problems with the named style file.
i have run clean up, restored factory settings rebooted, reinstalled,xtra pak 6 several times.
when im in style picker window i can pick the file and play demo also it will play when i use the option play using current chord sheet for song.
when i click load song demo and close style picker window. click play in bb main window i get error message and then have close bb and restart. Could anyone who has xtra styles pak 6 try this out to dtermine if its my end or bb error. thanks for anyone taking the time. running bb2022 905.

I had seen similar caused by audio driver. The easiest way to test for audio driver issues is by trying MME driver with internal soundcard (instead of ASIO, WAS or Asio wrapper). Not saying it is a solution, but at least you will narrow it down.

I'm presuming that this occurs every time for this particular song file?
There are 4 _Zydeco styles in Xtra Pak 6. The other 3 are all variations of the _Zydeco+ style. Does the same demo song give errors if you load one of the other _Zydeco styles?

yes everytime, ive tried other styles from this pak and they have worked.
zydeco3 loaded and played,the other 3 created error message.
one image is my style picker window filtered to bonus 6 and zydeco.
the other image is a filtered(zydeco+) window of search everything on computer, dont know what the stx file is. EDIT, i now know what stx file is

I had a similar problem a few years ago. It turned out be to be a corrupted download. Try downloading that particular package again and reinstall it.
Yes, good move. Perhaps delete/(rename) your existing Xtra Pak 6 download and then start the download again.
