Neat line, and clever rhyme with innocent
Cool harmony on the last verse.
There's some odd warbling on the final chorus - perhaps there's some synthetic doubled vocal or something?

I really like this. Excellent vocals. David has a classic 60s era delivery. I can't put my finger on it but he reminds me of that era. The mix is so good. Great production. Bravo to both of you.

Stunning, stunning writing. Dark and beautiful. And David does it total justice, here. One of the better songs I've heard on here in a while, both from the writing and the performance perspectives. My sincerest congratulations.

Great collab with two of my favorite music makers here on the forum. There was a French film in the 1980s called Betty Blue. (I really liked it, that's how I remember that far back)
Anyway, the whole thing was great. Instrumentation, arrangement, lyrics and vocals. Congrats to you both.

Excellent collab, Chris & Deej. Deej I am a huge fan of your lyrics and vocals. Such passion and love those harmonies, man. Such excellent changes in this song. Those guitars --in fact, the whole band is superb. Man, this is such a good song. Great dynamics and feel. I'm on my 3rd listen now, and I'll be back for more. So very good guys.
