Am I right in thinking that Micro Chords can’t be used with MIDI? Tutorial only shows Realtracks being used and any attempt made with MIDI has so far not been successful, but perhaps I’m going about it wrongly. My hopes were raised by being able to ‘Include’ MIDI tracks in ‘Select the tracks to exclude from the micro chords’.

Thanks for your helpful tutorial. Think I was entering things largely as you've shown, so wonder if I'm not understanding something, hoping for the impossible or still making entry mistakes!
When micro chords are entered as you've shown, all the Realtracks play the changes, but MIDI melody remains unchanged. This made me wonder where you say 'They work with MIDI as well' if it is a case of MIDI tracks working unaltered alongside the microchords and not being affected by them?
One thing you may have to do is re-generate by pressing the generate and play icon.
When you say Midi Melody remains unchanged are you referring to notes that you have entered in the Notation edit mode or a soloist melody generated by biab?
The chords do change here when I have a midi track with Microchords.

I have tried this here, went to Melody top of biab----Medloist---generate melody and or chords, I unticked generate chords as I had already those entered.
Some of the results are more satisfying then others even after going into the Melody dialog again and re-generating the melody track.
I guess its just a case of keep re-generating until you get something you want in the melody only.
The melody track would have to be an included track if you want the melody to follow the Microchords.
