Sounds great, Nigel, love everything about this! I assume with the horns you had to do a lot of chopping and cutting so they didn't jump all over your vocal. At least that's my experience with past BIAB horn sections. Again, the whole package was brilliant!

Great production, and fun song. As others said, the horns shine. It's always fun to listen to your vocals - you really know how to deliver a line!  Minor nit - there were a few points the horns sounded a bit chopped - 0:14, 0:42, 2:42 - but the first is the only one that really stands out - the others are on drum hits. It could be just me. Great work, as usual!

Slick sound! Those horns sound great.
I hear what David is talking about at 0:14, an artifact of some sort. Should be able to isolate and fix in your DAW I would think. Didn't hear the other ones he mentioned.
Love your vocal!
There is a blues band here that has been around forever called the Downchild Blues Band, not sure if you know them where you are. Your vocal reminds me of their original singer, Hock Walsh.

Hi David,
Thanks for pointing them out - the one at 0:14 seconds was particularly annoying. I could'nt find the ones at 0:42 nor 2:42 but did find and remove one at 2:47.
I've reposted the corrected version on SoundCloud.

What a great band, the drum intro really grabs attention and the horns are excellent. I really enjoyed the vocals too. Great demonstration of what BIAB is capable.

Nice throwback song—while jazz, it definitely has a big band feel to me. Lyrics work well with the tune. The sax is outstanding in this. Really solid work on this one. Very cool!
