Sounds great and nicely produced with various tools.

That's a good song. Pretty solid biblical write that teases one who knows the hymn this one shadows well without getting too close to the other.

Nicely done.

I'm glad that I didn't miss this one. Everything is spot on. Great vocal and guitar chops, super tone on that axe.

The lyrics are the icing on the cake, loved them.

A great song - loved it.

Two words apply to every song you post, Torrey: Professional and Talented. Man, you always stay on that high-standard. Each and every piece in the mix sits so well. Yes, this is different from you in many ways, but those remain constant. Very creative in your mathematical approach to BGVs works perfectly. Such a good write.

Enjoy whatever happens!

Takes us back to when we used to watch the Gaither Vocal Band Homecoming show.

Outstanding soulful vocal and guitar performances (and other tracks).

Well written and arranged also. The total package Mr. Bliss!

Torrey,
masterfully done musical piece. I think 6/8 worked very well, there is absolutely no feeling that it was forceful, sooth all the way. Very good vocals and mix. Thank you for sharing.

Amen. The intro, the build to the chorus, the guitar solo, the drums into the final chorus - this is excellent. laugh

I really like your vocal - it's a good register for you, and to be honest, I didn't really recognize your voice until the high notes, because that's where your voice is most distinctive (sort of like Eric Woolfson in that regard).

Good write, too.

Someone mentioned Elvis Costello, and the pedal guitar reminds me of his "flirting with country" phase.

But mostly, it's a good Gospel song with a positive message, and that's what I enjoyed the most about it.

OMG I LOVED it! You sing so well, and the overall song is a blast.
I really appreciated the chord changes and how you toyed with the drums to create many layers of rythms.

Hi Torrey,

You are very active with all the songs I see coming from your hand.
And this one is a bit different from your other songs, but also terrific!
I like your vocals very much.
The piano also has a very nice/good full sound. I am searching fore some time to achieve this sound. Tell me your secret...
