I want to create a new track in 2/2 instead of 4/4, I have read and re-read the manual but I still don't get how to change the time signature in the notation window. Anyone? Thank you very much.

Unfortunately, BiaB does not support 2/2 time sig in notation.

We can typically get it to SOUND like 2/2 at playback by choosing the right style and tempo and then entering chords into the 4-beat bar as if there were two bars of 2/2 inside of each bar. But we won't make a chart that looks like a standard 2/2 music chart.

Head for the BiaB Wishlist and add your name to the crowd about this one.

Support for ALL the time signatures, in the real.

I do not at all agree with Mac on this one. 2/2 and 4/4 have no similarity, if anything would be closer to 2/2 it would be 2/4 but still not the same. I´m sorry that I don´t have the right terminology in english to explain the difference fully. On the other hand I can understand why a software like BIAB does not aim to cover all existing styles and genres of music, better to do that what it´s designed to do and do it really, really well... Go to Sibelius and you will find a better way of expressing Alla Breve.

Lots of people disagree with this one (grin).

I've pulled A-B blindfold tests on many a prof and student, though.

We can indeed *perceive* 2/2 from a song played by a sequencer in 4/4.

One thing that will make this not possible with BiaB is a busy sounding style file, of course.

The machine does not care, it just does what it is told to do and when it is told to do it.

I have hit the BiaB Wishlist many times about full time signature support, though.

*Those who want to load a MIDI style done in a Time Signature that pgmusic products don't properly honor have a problem.

*Those who need to have a CHART of the song have a problem.

*Working with a file, entering and editing it in another Time Sig is a pain in the arse.

I've flown out of Leakenheath in GB (ok, it was GB then, now it is UK) and out of Scherger, Base Richmond and a couple others long forgotten now.

I think the Aus AF is still flying the F-101 & '102 every day. At breakneck speeds way too close to the ground through canyons using nuthin' but the seats of their pants and the Ground Cushion Radar.

You Aussies also taught this then young airman that ya weren't drunk 'til ya were pukin' on yer shoes...

Never. again.

But FWIW, I can also select the proper spanner to properly dickey up yer motor at tickover, mate...

G'day Mac,
bit British for the last bit - we certainly use spanners, but I'm more likely to tickle, or perhaps, touch up the engine at idle...
