I purchased and downloaded the Xtra PAK 12 Style set for Blues. I was so proud when I finally got the styles to show up in the Style Picker. The Demos sound Great! But when I apply these styles to a song, I only get some basic tracks to play. Lots of error messages saying the Real Track or Soloist "not found". "This means that you do not have the Real Track that is required for this style or solo" I downloaded the latest update, thinking that might solve the problem. That did not help, if I downloaded correctly. From the RealTracks dialog box I ran the 'rebuild and fix' utility, but received a message that "There are no missing RealTracks XT2\ST2 files. Nothing to do!"
Thanks for the info, Pipeline. I have purchased the UltraPAK upgrade to 2022 version and will download this afternoon. I will post whether that solves my problem.
If you are using the Download and Install Manager program to install the RealTracks for the UltraPAK, please make sure that the box for Upgrade from Previous is unchecked. When the list is reset you can then download and install all files that are included in your Band-in-a-Box. When installation is complete, please open the Style Picker and click the Rebuild button at the bottom.
I just don't get it. I downloaded and installed UltraPAK and I don't see a difference. Still won't play RealTracks in Xtra PAK 12 Style set, and to tell the truth, there are other Styles that won't play all the RealTracks either. I am running BIAB 2022, build 922. I've downloaded and installed all these PAKs in drive c:bb What am I doing wrong?

Once installation is complete, open the Style Picker and click the Rebuild button. You can then double check whether or not they installed properly by going to Help | What Add-ons do I have. In this window, if you have the UltraPAK or higher, you should have all RealTracks Sets and RealDrum Sets Found.

This may sound silly, but I promise it's important to check - did you:
1) Run setup from the external HD and choose to run it from the external HD, or a different method? If you had the old C install still there, make sure you're not accidentally running it from the old C drive location, otherwise the same issue will likely persist. 2) When you tried to install XtraStyles PAK 12, did you install it to the external HD and not internal C?
Those are excellent questions, Ember, and I hope I can be sure of the answers. I ran setup from the external HD, and it shows up as UltraPAK (D:) This is where I run BIAB from. The C: install is still there, along with the Download Manager that holds my Style Set Xtra PAK 12. I wonder if I should uninstall that version?
I also wonder if the heart of my question is 'how do I install the Style Set XtraPAK 12 into the HD version. I changed the target to D: , and the XtraPAK styles show up in the stylepicker, but the Real Tracks aren't found.
Go to Options > Preferences > RealTracks and check if the Custom Folder points to the location of your external drive that holds the RealTracks.
Do the same for Options > Preferences > RealDrums

The Xtra Styles uses RealTracks from the UltraPAK so it means either they are not installed, or your program is looking in the wrong directory for them. You can reset the folder path it is searching by following the steps in this video:
