Windows 10 (64bit) M-Audio Fast Track Pro, Band in a Box 2025, Cubase 14, Cakewalk and far too many VST plugins that I probably don't need or will ever use
Typing Xpro into the Filter String Box in the StylePicker and the Xpro styles appear in descending order Xpro1,Xpro2 and xpro3 if you have all 3 sets. The search can be restricted to any of the specific style sets by including the trailing number. Xpro1 limits results to Xpro1 styles. Xpro2 limits results to Xpro2 styles and xpro3 limits results to Xpro3 styles. Backspace once in the Filter String Box and type in the trailing digit(1,2 or3) will quickly list the specific style set. I'm unsure if there can be a way any easier.

I'm guessing that Build 923 doesn't recognize Xtra Styles Pak 13 and XPro Pak 3
I just purchased both, and the Pack 13 styles show up under Xtra Pak 12 in the style picker.
Could someone from PG Music confirm?

Yes, XTRA Styles PAK 13 is listed in that txt file along with all of the others. But they don't list in the StylePicker. They all show as XTRA PAK 12.
What Add-Ons shows that XTRA Styles PAK 13 is installed, but they do not show in the StylePicker even after two rebuilds (fast and slow).
Also What Addons does not list "XPro Styles PAK 3"

OK, I fixed the problem with my system like this: I renamed stylz1.bin and User_stylz1.bin, restarted the program and did a full build. Now they show up OK.

long story short, this sorted it for me. Update BiaB to build 923 Delete /bb/Data/stylz1.bin and perhaps /bb/Data/User_stylz1.bin Run Biab; StylePicker; Rebuild.
Edit: Ah ... I've just seen you found this fix already.

Thanks Gordon for stepping in. The interesting thing is that I was running Build 923 the entire time (!). But it appears to be sorted now.

Trevor, we had two versions of 923. I upgraded to the public release version when it was released, many weeks later. Could that have made a difference?

Matt, yes, that definitely is the cause of the confusion.
The exact same Version and Build number, but added features in the public release. Two different versions of the same version. Less than an ideal practice...

I have always said the build number should change if anything is changed, even if it's only additional material.

Totally agree with you. Even a suffix like 923a would be enough to differentiate.

Same here. I was quite shocked to find the "build number" didn't actually reflect the build.
If it isn't really a build number, then it should be be a release number or intended release number and the build number should always change whenever the software is built.
That will, of course, mean that build numbers released to the public will have larger jumps and that build numbers could become quite large.
Resetting build number to zero for the annual would be reasonable and would help stop the numbers getting huge.

PG Music historically used build numbers starting in the 600 range for 2019, 700 range for BiaB 2020, 800 range for BiaB 2021 and in the 900 range for 2022 BiaB. So if I understand correctly, I anticipate that 2023 version will have build numbers starting with a 10,000 offset.
Notwithstanding, both Matt and myself (and others) have always advocated that any change, even the slightest change to a previously released version, should similarly be accompanied by a new unique identifier. The inclusion of support for Xtra Paks 13 and XPro 3 in the public release of 923 would absolutely be considered to contribute as a significant change, and deserving of an update to the build number identifier.
This would have saved me a lot of valuable time and effort in investigating, decoding, testing and reporting.

And yet it's obvious that the pre-releases and the final output are different, just look at the changelog. I've been reloading the public versions for a while since the devs kept working hard...
If even the old ones don't do this, what's the point of being a veteran expert?
