Like that I can allow multiple instances of BIAB to be running. Can I do the same with Realband? I can not find how to do it.

I don't think that would be a good idea due to the sharing of the soundcard and other issues. It is certainly not a "feature" of RealBand.

Not sure why you'd want mutiple instances but for playing live this is what I do. I have all my songs set in JukeBox sets. I open RB & load in a set. I also open Power Tracks,which for playback is the same as RB if you've changed all the BB tracks to regular tracks in RB.I have PT setup exactly like RB settings wise. If I get a request for a song I just stop the JukeBox & pull the tune up in PT. When finished I just go back to RB & the JukeBox. Works very well.

Multiple instances will give me better overview and a faster way to reach different files when working in studio (like copy/editing). Don't like that a new file always substitutes an other.
PGMusic have done this in BIAB.Good!

BiaB is designed to generate files, and it has very limited tracks, RB on the other hand is designed to record full projects, and give 48 tracks. If you need to move a track from one project to another it is easy to export as a wave file and import to teh new project. As Silvertones said, this could be done with Powertracks as well. If you open one project in PT, and the other in RB you should be able to export to desktop or file and import quickly.
