Congrats to my friend, Tomas Martin Lopez, who has one of the Top Ten Recordings of 2010 on the Latin Jazz Network Radio. I wrote eight of the 13 songs, including "Julia", the song in the list, here:

Thanks, guys. Like my own CD, all the compositions started in BIAB. Tomas and I spent a lot of time auditioning RealTracks with my songs to get the sound he wanted before we hit the studio. Worked like a charm.

Thanks so much, everyone, for your kind words. I only play concerts two or three times each year now, and am primarily a composer, so it's nice to get this recognition. BIAB plays a very large part!

If anyone is interested, here is a link to the CD at CD Baby. I wrote tracks 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11 & 12 using BIAB. My flugelhorn is clearly heard on tracks 5 & 7. I play soprano sax on track 12. The trumpet solo on track 9 is NOT me, but all the ensemble trumpet work is me (including a high F on Cubano Chant).

Note: I have no commercial interest in the sale of this CD. http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/TomasMartinLopez

Matt may not have any commercial interest, but I guarantee if you buy the album, you'll have a lot of interest in the album. It's a great album.

I'm waiting for Matt's next album, Rob. Between Tomas' album and Brazilian Wish, there's not enough to go around.

Need more.
