There are 3 little boxes that have numbers in them to the right of the songtitle window.
First box is the bar number where the Chorus starts.
Second box is the bar where the Chorus ends.
Third bar is number of repeats desired for the Chorus.
Clicking on those boxes allows you to change those numbers.
Sounds like the middle box is not set to the number of bars that equals the length desired for the chours.
