Oh Mann, wie oft habe ich die Biab Version für Mac schon verflucht!! Habe aber leider nicht immer meine Windowsversion zur Verfügung. Im Moment habe ich folgendes Problem. Wenn ich in die Notenblattansicht wechsele, dann sehe ich keine Notenlinien oder ähnliches sonder nur Gleichheitszeichen und wild drucheinander gesetzte zeichen, keine Noten. Hat jemand eine Ahnung, woran das liegen kann. Ich habe schon überall gesucht, finde aber keine Erklärung dafür.

Die Windows Version erzeugt ähnliche Hieroglyphen, wenn PG Music Fonts dem System nicht bekannt sind. Möglicherweise ist das bei der Mac Version ähnlich.

Die Fonts sollten aber doch dabei sein sein. Ich habe ja das komplette Paket und da sollten doch auch die Fonts mit installiert werden.
Wie kann ich das denn heraus finden?

Hm, erneut kann ich lediglich Vermutungen anstellen, da ich bisher nur die Windows Version kenne. Wo sind denn all die Mac User hier im Forum ...?
BB wird nunmehr auch als HD Version ausgeliefert. Die HD Version ist grundsätzlich direkt von der HD lauffähig, auch ohne das gesamte Programm auf der PC bzw. Notebook Festplatte zu installieren. Ein einfacher Klick auf die ausführbare BB Datei genügt nach einer minimalen Vorbereitung auf einem neuen System.
Unter Windows müssen Fonts dem System bekannt gegeben werden, indem sie in einem Systemverzeichnis 'Fonts' installiert werden. Ohne eine solche Installation kennt Windows diese Fonts nicht und entsprechende Zeichen werden als Hieroglyphen widergegeben. Daher muss bei einem Windows System vor Verwendung der BB Software auf der externen HD eine Installatinsroutine ausgeführt werden.
Diese Routine bietet verschiedene Optionen zur gewünschten Installationsform an -> lediglich auf dem externen Laufwerk ausführen oder auf einer internen HD installieren sowie einige Optionen für den Installationsort der RealTracks und -Drums. In jedem Falle werden aber die Fonts geordnet auf dem System installiert.
Kann es sein, dass bei dem Mac System eine ähnliche Installation noch nicht durchgeführt wurde? Wie gesagt, bei einem Windows System ist BB direkt von der externen HD lauffähig, aber ohne Installationsroutine werden eben Hieroglyphen angezeigt.
Bei einem Windows System kann man durch einfaches Listing des Font Systemfolders überprüfen, welche Fonts installiert und somit dem System bekannt sind.

habe von meiner HD nochmal das Setup Programm laufen lassen und jetzt funktioniert es wieder. Komisch. Irgendwie ist da wohl was verloren gegangen. Nun gut, alles wieder da und klappt
