Hallo zusammen,
bin zum 1.Mal aktiv im Forum dabei, lese es aber hin und wieder seit längerem.
Ich nutze BiaB schon seit Jahren um Playbacks für Sänger zu erstellen und bin
eigentlich sehr zufrieden mit dem Programm. Nun habe ich aber doch mehrere
Fragen, die ich schon länger "vor mir herschiebe":
1.Warum werden Moll-Akkorde in BiaB so stiefmütterlich behandelt,
z.B. so wichtige Akkorde wie cm4 (Grundton-Terz-Quarte-Quinte) oder cm47 (mit
der Septime dazu) - diese Akkorde existieren meines Wissens nicht in der Akkord-
Bibliothek oder doch unter anderer Bezeichnung?
Falles sie nicht existieren sollten sie dringends aufgenommen werden!
2.Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die Vorzieher nur für die drums auszuschalten - bei manchen
Styles "knallen" sie einfach zu laut rein, obwohl unter Arrangement - Verstärke Vorzieher
um .. auf "0"steht.
3.Wird ein RD-Wechsel innerhalb eines Stückes beim Rendern in eine WAV-Datei berücksichtigt?
4.Ich nutze Forte Dxi - eigentlich ganz gut klingend bis auf die Bläser (v.a. Saxophone) -
gibt es dazu klanglich eine Alternative (Bandstand)?

Hallo Tserof,
Zu 1.: ich nehme an, Du meinst add4-Akkorde, also die Quarte erklingt zusätzlich. Da kannst Du z.B. anstatt cm add4 (=c+eb+f+g), was BiaB nicht anbietet, auch cm11 (c+eb+g+f) nehmen. Wenn noch die Septime dazu soll, also cm add4/7, dann nimmst Du alternativ c7sus#9 (=c+f+g+h+d#). Hier wird die durch den Quartvorhalt wegfallende Mollterz (Eb) enharmonisch durch das Dis des #9 ersetzt. Beide Alternativen sind im BiaB-Chordbuilder enthalten.
Wenn Du aber eh sus4-Akkorde meintest, also die Quarte an Stelle der Terz, kannst Du im Chordbuilder die sus Akkorde nehmen. Wegen der durch den Quartvorhalt wegfallenden Terz ist ja ohnehin kein Moll- oder Dur-Charakter vorhanden.
Grundsätzlich wäre es aber in der Tat sinnvoll, wenn Biab im nächsten Update zu den Dur4-Akkorden auch Moll4-Akkorde abieten würde.
Zu 2.: Das gehört zu den "tief versteckten Schätzen" von BiaB! Du kannst die Vorzieher für einzelne Spuren wie die Drums unterschiedlich einstellen. Dazu unter "Styles" -> "Stylemaker" -> "aktuellen Style bearbeiten" aufrufen. Hier dann oben Mitte/rechts auf "Verschiedenes" klicken und die einzelnen Vorzieher an- oder ausstellen bzw. deren Länge prozentual bestimmen. Dort dann wiederum unten auf "Mehr" klicken. Nun kannst Du für die Drums Vorzieher allerlei Einstellungen vornehmen. Vermutlich wirken sich die Einstellungen bei den Drum Vorziehern (Instrument und Velocity) aber nur auf Midi-Drums, nicht aber RealDrums aus. Hab's nicht probiert.
Zu 4.: Du kannst statt Forte auch Bandstand oder Software von Garritan (z.B. Horn Section, Bigband, usw. ) nehmen. Hatte ich probeweise auch mal probiert. Klanglich eine Verbesserung gegenüber Forte aber extrem unhandlich, langsam, höhere CPU-Last und fehleranfällig. Beide bringen etliche Gigabyte an Samples mit und es werden vorher immer Sets in den Speicher geladen, was dauert. Da bist Du dann mit den BiaB-RealTracks erheblich besser bedient, weil sie klanglich mindestens auf gleichem Niveau sind, bei viel besserer Einbindung in BiaB und RealBand. Es gibt aber Demoversionen von Bandstand und ich glaube auch von Garritan, die kannste ja mal testen.

Hallo Ralf,
zunächst vielen Dank für deine schnelle Antwort - die meine erfolgt, bedingt
durch die Festtage, erst jetzt:
Zu 1: Klar meint ich die add4 - Akkorde - was deinen Tipp mit dem cm add4/7 = c7sus#9
anbelangt, so ist das tatsächlich eine Alternative, wenn mir die Schichtung auch nicht gefällt.
Beim cm4 sieht es etwas anders aus: deine vorgeschlagene Alternative, der cm11 wird in Biab
immer in der Schichtung "b-es-g-d" generiert, d.h. die wichtige Quarte fehlt und die Septime/
None erscheinen, die ich gar nicht will. Fazit: cm4 als rein vierstimmiger (c-es-f-g)Akkord
fehlt!
Zu 2: Vorzieher in den drums auszuschalten geht tatsächlich nicht, bei den RealDrums die
Vorzieher wenigstens lautstärkemäßig "runterzufahren" fzunktioniert, wie von dir vermutet,
ebenfalls nicht.
Zu 4: Meine Frage bezog sich eigentlich hauptsächlich auf die Melodiespur. Gebe ich eine
Melodie ein und "ersetze" sie klanglich durch RealTracks, so improvisiert mir der Solist
munter über die Harmonien, meine Melodie ist aber weg! Es geht also mehr um samples,
die den schwachen Bläsersound ersetzen sollen.
Alle Fragen die sich zunehmend auch als Wünsche entpuppen, habe ich unter obiger
BiaB-Wunschliste zusammengefasst.
