Is there a way to restore a style without reinstalling BIAB 2011? I was trying to create a hybrid style and accidentally overwrote one I wanted to keep.

I don't know of a way. If you tell us which style, perhaps someone can e-mail it to you. Easier than re-installing.

Try and find it on your Biab CD. You will need to know which style # folder to look in.

I went the direct download route with a separately purchased external hard drive (installed yesterday), and didn't have the foresight to back up my styles.
Maybe I need to bite the bullet and just reinstall, given that I'm only a day into this. All my songs are currently stored in a separate folder, and my 2006 BIAB data is on another computer. Just wondering if there's an easy way to log-in and restore.
I found a corresponding song in the 62 folder... enya44.

Copy your song folder to your desktop, then drag it back to your BB drive AFTER you have re-installed. You don't want to lose your songs.
Biab may not even overwrite it, but copy it just in case.

If you messed up the Style on the EXT. HD you're cooked. If you just overwrote the style on the internal drive just find that style file on the EXT. HD and copy/paste into the bb folder. It'll say it exists. Just overwrite it. The hard part will be to find the file.

If it was a MIDI-only style, then you just reinstall the main program (i.e. bandinabox_realband.exe) to a different folder (e.g. C:\bb-temp). Then, find the style in the bb-temp folder, copy it to your bb folder, and delete the bb-temp folder.
If it was a style with RealTracks, you could find out what set it's from, and then install that one set (to save time) as above.
