Hi SimplySax,

You've probably read on these forums how version 2011 BIAB/RB uses a different audio resizing routine when compared to versions 2010.5 and earlier. As a consequence of this new routine, around 2/3 of the previous versions' Realtracks (i.e. ver. 2010.5 or before) were unnecessary. This is because the older stretching/shrinking routine was not as effective and required additional variations of existing Realtracks. These were the + and - versions of the Realtracks. When version 2011 came along with the superior stretching/shrinking routine, these +/- Realtracks were no longer needed and thus able to be deleted. This reduced the size of the existing Realtracks folders substantially. My understanding is that it is this that the homepage is talking about.

The option to delete these +/- RTs is found under Opt | Preferences | Realtracks. Firstly, de-select the option "Use +/- Realtracks for generation". If, after a few days, everything is working well, you should then be able to go to Opt | Preferences | Realtracks and click on the button called "Erase unneeded +/- files". This frees up around 70 GB of disk space for those people who had purchased a full complement of RTs prior to ver. 2011.

Regards,
Noel
