Hi all,
I am trying to make a "Sound of Music" medley for a singing group. All is working well except...the first song in the medley is "My Favorite Things", a waltz. I get the screen that says "you can't start a medley with a 3/4 song in this version". I have tried several work arounds to no avail. You can't, for instance, give the first song a temporary 4/4 style and then change it to a 3/4 in the first bar...it will change the overall style instead of only one bar. I have tried inserting a bar and giving it a 4/4 style, then, change the second bar to a 3/4 style .... then go back and mute the first bar--but I can't get it to work correctly. It mutes the first bar OK but it plays only drums (real) for the next 8 bars and at bar 9 finally adds instruments back in. Is there a workaround for this aside from changing the medley order?

I haven't used the Medley feature, but could you make a silent very short song in 4/4 as your first song? One measure of "C.".

I will give that a try...can I eliminate the count-off for only that 1-bar tune?

If you do, it will apply to all songs. Opt., Preferences, Count-in/Met, and uncheck Audible Lead-in.
Just for fun, I made such a song quickly:
Change Bar for End of Chorus to 1, Number of Choruses to 1, uncheck loop, and go to song settings and uncheck Generate Ending. Set tempo to 500. Put C. in bar one.
It's over in a blink, and it's quiet.
