Well, there's an old saying in the business that "NO PUBLICITY IS BAD PUBLICITY" - supposedly meaning that all publicity is just publicity.

Some stars actually seek out such, not saying Harry C. did that, I don't think he's of the type to do that.

Michael Jackson, on the other hand, turns out to have been the source for many press rumors and such that likely a lot of folks still believe are true to some extent or other. A practice that came back to bite.

That said, I personally don't like any of it, Truth is having a hard enough time of it as it is.

And I don't think that reporting someone's demise that did not occur is humor.
