Hmmm... Check to see if you have the latest update for the app. Also, make sure you've downloaded the latest patch for your desktop version. If it's still happening after that, please send us a sample file that the problem happens with to support@pgmusic.com, and reference this forum thread.

(To render to m4a, click the WAV button in the main Band-in-a-Box toolbar and then press the m4a button. It sounds like that part is working ok though).
