Hi John

I have considered buying a G-xt myself and has been wondering how it would work. As to the fact that the harmonies are created on basis of the guitar input, I believe you would have to output your guitar track from your DAW to the the G-XT (external hardware) and send the signal back. Your vocal should be tracked via the G-XT directly.

By doing this (if this is the way to do it?) I do'nt believe it would be necessary to redo the guitar tracks. I have read that bass tracks similary could do the job, that is, being basis for the harmonies based on the key.

Let us know have you progress with the harmonizer.

What I'm going to do is make another guitar track and route it to the computers internal sound card. Then the headphone out to the harmonizer. The rest of the "Band" goes to my A2ZSNB soundcard.I want the seperate track so that I can set to a low volume so that even with the volume on the computer turned all the way up the headphone out level won't be too high. Just want to protect the input of the Harmonizer. If this proves to be iffy I'll get some sort of matching device.
