You are comparing apples with oranges there. You don't need to choose one or the other, because they do different things. You can have them all and make a pretty good fruit salad.

It's sometimes hard to get a quick idea of how all the various types of software work, but if you read the MacWorld review that's recently been posted here it should give you a reasonable view. It may have moved down the list a bit, but you can see it if you click on this link:

As the reviewer notes, the instructions are a bit daggy, and take some time to really work through, partly because the order of the explanations can be a bit odd at time. But the results you can get are well worth the effort.
