I'm a long-time BIAB user who hasn't used it for a number of years. I just purchased the 11.5 upgrade (now for the Mac) and I can't believe all the bugs; things that work once, then don't work again; "interactive features" that ignore my interaction; "not found" styles even though I purchased the EverythingPAK - which is supposed to come with all styles, and so much more.
After 10+ years, this is still a great CONCEPT for songwriters, but the execution remains unbelievably poor. And the interface, never a model of ease-of-use, just gets more complex and obtuse. What a disappointment (since the sounds and arrangements generated are potentially fantastic!)
Am I alone in my frustration?
Will we ever see a rewrite more along the lines of the state-of-the-art G4 apps?
