You could try downloading and installing the ASIO4ALL sound drivers, they may work with that card, don't know, but trying is not permanent at all.

Computer speed and power may come into play here as well. For example, I have some older puters running XP and some of them do not want to do the Conductor, RealTracks and DXi synths fast enough to work on a live gig. In one instance, I discovered that one of the laptops will do the job indeed, using its internal soundcard and those ASIO4ALL drivers, BUT - I must use a hardware MIDI synth, not invoking DXi. Funny thing is that it would stutter even in songs that had no MIDI parts on any tracks, as long as the DXi synth was invoked...
