Dan, that does look like the problem I meant. I misunderstood it when searching. I thought I remembered continued complaints into 2011, but maybe they were still from other 2010 owners resisting progress.
Silvertones: Yours is a helpful confirmation of using it handily without it screwing up. I transcribe a lot of tunes from leadsheets displayed on the screen next to BiaB, which is similar to your idea. The program is perfectly legible when reduced to 15 or 20% on a medium-sized monitor; it was a serious hindrance to be stuck in full screen all those years.
