Toucher, you mentioned about seeing other’s pictures so here are some of mine:

http://www.4shared.com/file/83180199/e10772e3/lake_22.html

http://www.4shared.com/file/83180204/4c320b4e/lake_30.html

All were taken straight from my Olympus UZ2100 (10X zoom), i.e. no extra processing. The doe picture was taken with an addition 2X telephoto lens using the spot focus, thus the blurry edges.

Anyway this is what I like to shoot, landscapes and animals. I have a ton of pictures of both!

Great pics toucher. I really liked the windmill and the wagon. I like that kind of stuff also.

I’ve shot some Civil War reenactments using the Sepia setting on my camera. I’ll have to find them and upload them.

You have taken some really good pictures my friend.

I really like the deer too, especially the backstraps..:)

Very nice shots guys. Good work.

I've been doing 'Moon thru the trees' pics lately. I'll try to get a couple up. The moon has been awesome here lately.

I have several photos that I took while in Shanghai in October 2007 posted on the blog I kept while I was there. I liked this one in particular of the Jin Mao Tower with the Shanghai World Financial Center under construction behind it:

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_pTrChoxADQY/Rx...ger_jin_mao.jpg

And this one of Qi Bao in Shanghai was kind of nice:

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_pTrChoxADQY/RyScGrBHGaI/AAAAAAAAAFU/GiYXjMCcMo0/s1600-h/b_qi_bao1.jpg

I took several photos of food that westerners would find disgusting. But perhaps the most disturbing photo of all was this one I snapped out of a taxi window showing that you make left turns from the middle lanes of a major road. And no, I don't mean the left most lane of traffic as the middle lane. Have a looksee:

I don't get out too often to take pictures, although I truly enjoy doing so.

I was out in late September of last year, because people wanted to know about the new town I moved to. So, I took a walk.

Wow! Thanks Gary. I played a few gigs in Poulsbo and other places on the island. Mostly played at the navy clubs. Played the officers club in Silverdale a few times too. Played all over the west side of the Olympic ranges. There's an Elks club (used to be, anyway). Played on Whidbey Island and other spots in that area. Thanks for showing the pics. Brings back some fond memories.

I guess being a piano player, flower pictures come naturally. (where's the effeminate icon?)

A single click will enlarge an image. All taken with a 100 mm macro lens on a Canon 30D, and most of them are stacks.

Glenn,
TOTALLY awesome stuff. In fact, Crocosmia (Iridacea) just became my wall paper on my desktop. I have a rather large monitor, and I've stretched it. You wouldn't happen to have a larger resolution image of that picture, would you? It is gorgeous.

Thank you for sharing those.

Gary

I have that you can get a shot of the right politician in the right situation, you don't need a fancy multi-megapixel single lens camera at all to be able to sell your photographs for top dollar.

Cellphone cam will do ya.

awesome pics guys!

gary, you made me homesick for marysville. in over 40 years living in washington i regret to say that i only had one round-trip ferry ride from mukilteo to kingston and the orcas paced alongside all the way across. what a marvelous experience that was!
