To be fair, ProTools is hugely more complex than bandinabox. And as of now, they don have 9.0.5 out and it provides some support for 10.7. I'd imagine that in October they will get a certified version out that supports 10.7

Avid is actually doing pretty good. Moving from 10.4 to 10.5 took than 8+ months to get ProTools 7 to run on 10.5. When apple moved to 10.6, it took avid less than 3 months to get ProTools working on it.
