I want to make a midi guitar track in RB. I hi-lited a track and right clicked on it then selected Make a Midi Track/Guitar. (There is an existing BB guitar track now) Nothing appears. So what am I doing wrong?

Hi,
You have the track highlighted in RB--it's glowing amber. Now, go to the top left area of the tracks window. Click on "Tracks", choose "Erase". You will see the unwanted track disappear. Then do as you've done before--right click on the track and choose the midi instrument you wish to create. Very quickly, you'll see the new one appear. At least, that's what I've been doing. smiles. Thanks guys. I'll give it a try. I'm afraid you're right John. That's exactly what I've been doing. Too much RC airplanes. Hmmmmmm ... that reminds me. I'm going flying in the morning. Oh well. Cya all later Mates. And thanks again.

The midi part you generate is based on the style that is up in the window. A lot of times these styles may have a RT in the part you are trying to generate so nothing will happen as there's no midi data available.

Exactly, I was just going to say the same thing Russ. You have to choose a style that has a midi guitar first. If it's a RT style or the midi style has no midi guitar, then the part won't generate. The confusing thing about your post though is if there's no midi part with the style you get an error box saying that. You didn't see an error box?
