I think this is especially true when the Patch is a hammered instrument like the piano.





I spent a lot of time back through the 90s creating BIAB files of my original tunes before RTs and I'm not prepared to jettison all midi - I'd like to hold on to Midi Bass parts (you can tweak and edit them easily), Piano, Drums - you can actually augment RDs when you have a kick and snare that need help. Midi Banjo and Fiddle can also pass scrutiny pretty well.

There are also some pretty good midi soloists or melodists that can be used in replacement of as yet uncreated solo RTs . . . if your ears can eq midi (convert to audio) and RTs to sound close.

We've a lot of tools at our disposal - I never thought I'd ever hear synths and country music come together.
