Audio must use separate audio cables connected to the Line Input of the computer soundcard.

Most keyboards have L and R line level outputs on the back, those that do not will likely still have a headphone jack, which, with the proper breakout adaptor, can be used in the same fashion as a stereo line out.

MIDI and Audio are entirely separate things. The MIDI cables contain no audio at all, just data that tells a synth what notes to play and when, etc.
