And yes Richard you can use that loop library.

We’ve added “Loops” support, so you can add your own or 3rd party Loops to any Band-in-a-Box track.
Loops are audio files (WAV, wma, m4a, mp4, mp3) that reside in the Loops folder of the RealTracks folder. You can add your own files to this folder.

Can I? Can I use REX files from Reason and ACD (I think) files from Acid? Is there pitch shifting and time stretching? Enquiring minds and all that, y'know. I may have some WAV loops but the vast majority are from Reason and Acid.

Acid loops are .WAV files with some extra info added to make it easier for Acid to time-stretch and pitch-shift them. In other words, yeah, you can use Acid loops. Dunno how BIAB's time-stretching/pitch shifting will be by comparison.

.ACD files, on the other hand, are Acid's song files (like .SGU and .MGU). Those not only can't be loaded into BIAB, but tend not to be backwards-compatible within Acid, e.g., a song file created in Acid 6 can't be read into Acid 5 or earlier. They keep adding on new features with every version, but you'd think they could read a subset of them....
