When you setup the amplitube 3 account they also give you SampleTank + 500 meg of voices.
Have any of you worked with this yet ?
SAMPLETANK is actually SAMPLETANK2
It loads into the VST system just fine. Don't have voicing setup yet.
No softsynth pert, but this really looks good. hope the voicing is good.
In addition another comment regarding the VST setups and PLUGIN modification upgrades

I've used that sampletank in RB or years, works great, just takes a bit of memory to run. So if it gives you problems it is likely resource related.
I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome

I have Sampletank 2 from a group buy last year, i love it, I ended up paying noting for it, and have a ton of content.
HP Win 11 12 gig ram, Mac mini Sonoma with 16 gig of ram, BiaB 2025, Realband, Reaper 7, Harrison Mixbus 9 32c , Melodyne 5 editor, Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL, Presonus control app.

How much Amplitube do you get? As a standalone, it costs more than BIAB.
I'm a little excited by the prospect of even getting part of Amplitube (a tiny part is available as a demo).

You get 9 stomp box which are:
delay, diode overdrive, compressor,7 band graphic, wah pedal, chorus, flanger, opto tremolo, volume pedal.
You get a amp that has 3 selectable preamps, a few selectable eq and amps like solid state, 50watt EL34
You get one speaker cab that has 5 speaker configs such as 2x12.
You get 2 rackmount effects which are a digital delay and a parametric eq. Also comes with a nice tuner and mix control with noise gate. There is a boatload of amps and stompboxes at the custom shop to try and buy of course. Most of the presets will say it is missing some of the components that make up that preset so the sound of that preset will not be the same.

It's not the real retail version of Amplitude. It's a "mini" version that appears to be like the one called "Amplitude 2 Duo" which was marketed through resellers like Musicians Friend and included a pop-up that linked to the full retail upgrade. A bit of a pain.

Unprocessed guitar tracks were requested in the wish list, and PGMusic delivered them. Then they went the extra mile and negotiated a free no-timeout plugin to use with the new feature.
To criticize them for not providing a better free deal is a bit like looking a gift horse in the mouth, IMO.
In an age where there are hundreds if not thousands of plugins available, the goal of software developers like PGMusic is to provide hooks and other capability to use the 3rd party tools. If a bundled version of something comes with BIAB or any other software, it's a bonus. The real feature supplied by PGMusic regarding Amplitube was the unprocessed guitar realtracks, which can be used with MANY other plugins... some of which you may already possess, some of which may be available online for free, and some of which you may decide to buy as a separate purchase. The bundled version of Amplitude gives us something to play with immediately. That's a GOOD thing... right?

IK made Amplitube a freebie earlier this year. They sell expansion packs, and also individual expansions (stomp boxes, cabinets, etc.) through the Custom Shop. They often have free modules, and it's not too expensive for any one.
Same with SampleTank. I can vouch for the fact that the only difference between any of the SampleTank programs is how many GB of samples they give you with it -- otherwise, it's exactly the same software. This means that, when IK or esoundz has sales on ST expansions, you don't have to worry about which version of the software you have -- it's all the same.

Yes Tom you are exactly right, there is no difference in the software. I own sample tank & amplitude both which I purchased. It is the addon's that is the marketing strategy for IK. Both are good programs and happy to see BIAB has added this new feature.
