I don't know about resizing inside BIAB, but did you know that you can "grab" the taskbar at its inside edge and collapse it temporarily?

The mouse cursor will change into an updown arrow (or left-right if you have moved your taskbar to the R side of the screen, which may be an answer for you here also).

Grab the very bottom of the screen to drag it back into view.

You may have to RightClick on the taskbar and choose to "unlock" it first.
