I downloaded the Independence Free 2 and have somes issues. The sounds are in the image folders and I can load them. When I play them on the Mapping page with the keyboard at the bottom of the screen, I see the meters move but no sounds is coming out. I am using an Audiophile 2496 and had to download the ASIO4ALL driver because the software could not set the ASIO buffer with the M-Audio driver. All other programs work fine through the soundcard. I am on XP would like to use it with Powertracks 12. Any ideas?

The M-Audio ASIO driver is better than ASIO4All, and you do not set the buffers in the software you do that with ASIO in the sound cards mixer applet.
HP Win 11 12 gig ram, Mac mini with 16 gig of ram, BiaB 2025, Realband, Reaper 7, Harrison Mixbus 9 32c , Melodyne 5 editor, Presonus Audiobox 1818VSL, Presonus control app.

I simply installed Independence Free (not 2 tho) and used the standard M-Audio XP ASIO drivers for my AP22496 card.
As I recall, there was an issue about the MIDI channel number having to be manually set inside the Ind Free window before I could hear any sound from it.
