I've just upgraded from 2009.5 to 2012.

There are 12 large files to download. There are some that I know I will never need (e.g. Guitar chord dictionary). Can I just take what I think I need and download more later if necessary.

Any guidance on which files I can skip? I only use BIAB for practicing on my P90 piano.

Note that the files are all timestamped with a date which has not occurred yet (Dec 29, 2011). This may be a clever way to include version information in the timestamp, but it is not a good idea. Sometimes the date of a file is useful. When it is wrong, it is confusing.

Will it detect that I have a previous version when it installs?

Will it preserve my MIDI and other setting?

Will I be able to easily revert to the earlier version if 2012 doesn't solve my problems?

Thanks,

Al
