Actually, a workaround that works for me (I also use MusicReader 4 pdf on my iPad):
1. Choose the notation option (yes, you only see one line at a time).
2.Choose FILE/PRINT and press OK-PRINT button which sends you to your Mac printer driver which gives you the option to the right of "?" button which is:
3.PDF with the triangle facing down. Press that and you will get the option to save as a PDF right to your desktop.
This is a complete lead sheet that can be used in MusicReader or printed.
I have a cheap Canon printer and it works flawlessly for me.
