please do this....i think it would be a relatively easy thing to add.....
you have the soloist generator (awesome), why not just incorporate a "scale suggestor" into the mix some how?? "joe" could enter hiw real book charts & melodies into BIAB, and choose whether BIAB generates a MIDI solo, Real Track solo, or just a simple set of scale suggestions based on relative changes.....i know it is so simple it almost seems pointless, however it is a big help to those of us trying to break into the jazz arena. for guitar player you could add little scale diagrams like that of the chords (sort of), and you can do different combinations of scale approaches based on something like an "artist selection" the user makes.
i guess benefit is mainly just so guitar players can print out charts with little scale diagrams.....man all this tech is making us lazy!
still it would be a cheap and easy thing for you to implement into the program so why not?
