Hi everyone, it's been a while since I have posted on here. I am working on a song that is 25bars long 6 chorus's. I want to tag from bar 21-24 to repeat 2 times at the end. The problem is that the tag needs to start on the 3rd beat of bar 21 which I have been told I can't do. I could shift every chord one beat to the left but then the end of the song won't work properly. A simple fix would be to be able to choose what beat on what bar you could start the tag and how many times . Anyone else experience this? The song by the way is " Four Strong Winds" by Ian Tyson

Man, what a great song.
I don't recall how that song ends. But to drop a beat there seems really odd.
Wait I'm singing it. Slow. LOL.
You mean to repeat the "but we've been through that a thousand times or more."

Nope I don't get it. I do have that song, but if you are starting out at this it's a dang good one to put in the computer for practice and should only take about 20 minutes, more if you don't type fast to note enter the lyrics. If you use the big lyrics window, you find them on the net and put them in that with cut and paste.
I digress:
Don't move, I'm firing up a browser window to peek at the words. (My music computer is down 4 steps and I don't do that until I recover from last night.
Thanks for not leaving. Hey I did find the Seekers on Youtube, as I remember the song ends I'll look for you if I'm ever back this way, and sort of hangs there. I don't see the repeats.
Now as to your real question, when confronted with that many of us 'unfold' the song into one long one with no repeats. Really messy in this case, because of the 6 verses. Are there really 6 verses? I see 3.
I'll jump in again after my coffee, paper, shower, and maybe I'll stand in the snow to jump start my foggy brain.

Try making the first bar of the tag into a 2/4 bar, will that work?
