I just don't get the people who THINK that Mac is going to make money for a company that knows what their sales are like in both areas.

John - your staunch defence of BIAB for Windows is admirable, but your argument as quoted above holds no water at all as long as PGMusic actually DO write and sell a Mac version.

There is no logic whatsoever in saying that they don't have sufficient market to add this feature or that to the Mac version, yet there is obviously sufficient market to be bothered writing the basic Mac version to start with....

And if, as your quoted reply suggests, the Mac version sales are not sufficient to be worth devoting time and energy on, has it occurred to you that the very reason that it may be so is precisely BECAUSE the Mac version is lacking quite a few of the features that are in the Windows version?

And given that they charge the same price for BOTH versions, then I'd suggest that they should give users the same feature set in both versions. Or drop the price of the Mac version and call it BIAB Lite, or something.

It should really be all or none - if the Mac market is worth the trouble of writing the Mac version, then it is also worth the trouble of completing the feature set to make it on par with the Windows version.

You can't keep on trying to defend the lack of features in the Mac version on the basis that the Mac market is not big enough - there is no logic in that at all.
