I'm having a blast with my new iPod and the Band in a Box Application. I'm almost to the point of being able to do an "open mic" performance using a song I've composed with BIAB and plugging in my iPod to the house PA. The one inconvenience is having a 10' 1/8' cable to connect between the iPod and the mixer. Does anyone know of a way to do this wirelessly, with wi-fi or otherwise?
Also, am I posting in the correct forum? It seems like there should be a forum dedicated to using the BIAB app for live performance..?
Also, for some reason I have lost the "click" beat for the lead into the song on the BIAB app. It's there on my PC version of BIAB. It just wasn't generated when uploaded to the BIAB app. How can I get the click lead in so I know when the song is going to start?

Raintalk... Thanks for the reply. Do you use the Audio Link? I can't find any independent reviews on the internet. I'm wondering how it works with the BIAB app for iPod. Looks like it should work well. Tom

As for the click leadin, there is a checkbox in the Render window that allows inclusion, make sure that is checked before hitting the Render button...

. I have a set of wireless mics made by Pyle. http://www.amazon.com/Pyle-Pro-PDWM4300-...5511&sr=1-2The belt packs for the wireless mics acccept a 1/8 stereo plug, same as my Ipod. I tried plugging the ipod into the beltback in place of the mike and it worked great. I now have an ipod connected to my PA. I have not actually used this on a gig. It worked fine in studio testing.

I didn't look at the link, but isn't there a much simpler way?
Don't Ipod Touches have 1/8" headphone jacks? Use a Y cable 1/8" stereo to dual RCA or dual 1/4" TS.
