Not sure what you mean by, "broadcast .wav files" but BiaB creates the 16/44.1 standard pcm .wav file.
Some of my stuff created with BB does get airplay on both radio and TV, in the form of jingles, industrial musics and the like.
Pay attention to never hitting 0dB mark, I usually raise it up to -0.5dB for the hard hitting stuff, -1.8dB max for more "musical" stuff. That leaves a little bit of extra room for safety.
