Your post is a little confusing. Are you talking about two separate tracks panned differently, or are you talking about a single track that is designated as a stereo track? If the first, I've never had a problem processing each track separately. If the latter, you CAN'T separately process the left and right channels of the track without first breaking the stereo track out into two separate mono tracks (which you can pan hard left and right to preserve the stereo).

Please help us better understand what's going on with your bug report. This is the first I recall hearing of this.
