First of all, you probably have to have something actually plugged in to the "line-in" connector for Windows 7 to recognize it.

Windows 7 handles sound much differently than Windows XP (I presume you meant XP when you said EP). Have you gone in and looked at "Sounds" under Control panel? Also, if you right click on that window, you'll also see a menu item to "show disabled and disconnected devices".

Make sure the driver you want is selected. then go into BIAB/RB and select accordingly. Try it with MME first before getting into ASIO.
