Nach der Neuinstallation von BIAB 2009 MegaPak+ passiert folgendes:
Bei den Songs sind im Hintergrund chaotische kakophonische Instrumentenstimmen, Piano, Gitarre u.a., zu hören, die wirr durcheinander spielen. Im Vordergrund läuft der Song korrekt ab. Ich benutze die Marian Marc 8 Soundkarte und habe dort für BIAB eigene Eingangs- und Ausgangskanäle eingestellt, was damit möglich ist (außerdem läuft noch Cubase und Samplitude auf anderen Kanälen, aber nicht gleichzeitig). Als Sounderzeuger verwende ich den Roland VSC Canvas DXi. Bei den Miditreibern in BIAB ist folg. eingestellt: Midi-Eingangstreiber: Marc 8 - Midi2; Midi-Ausgangstreiber: Roland VSC, Roland VSC ist als DXi Synth eingestellt, Audio läuft über ASIO der Marc 8 Soundkarte.
Kann es an den Windows-Einstellungen unter Systemeinstellungen > Sounds und Audiogeräte liegen. Dort habe ich meine 2. Soundkarte Creative SB 128 eingestellt. Ist das richtig? Auch dort gibt es Audio- und Stimmwiedergabeeinstellungen.
Wer kann mir helfen?

Hi,
versuch mal folgendes: wähle bei "Midi Output Treiber" den MS GS Wavetable statt des Roland-Treibers (Der DXI fängt die Ausgabe an den eingestellten MS GS Wavetable ab). Rechts daneben dann den Patch für Roland DXI auswählen. Das Häkchen beim Roland DXI bei DXI Synth hast Du ja schon.

Danke, habe es versucht. Leider trat keine Veränderung ein. Kann eigentlich der Midi-Monitor, vorausgesetzt man kann ihn lesen, bei solchen Problemen Aufschluss geben?

Der zeigt nur die Events auf den Midi-Kanälen an.
Hast Du die Probleme auch, wenn kein DXI ausgwählt ist und Midi komplett über den Standard MS GS Wavetable läuft? Was passiert bei Songs, die ausschließlich RealTracks und keine Midi-Instrumente haben?

Hallo Ralf!
Ich habe mal in Optionen > MidiTreiber auf den MS GS Wavetable umgestellte, also Midi-Ausgangstreiber und re. oben Synth/Soundkarte und den DXi abgewählt. Der Song lief damit fehlerfrei. Da waren aber auch Realtracks (Guitar) automatisch dabei. Die sind für mich neu. Ich weiß nicht, war jetzt vom Arrangement Midi und was Realtracks oder Realdrums war. Ich könnte auch mal die MME-Classic-Treiber meiner Marian Marc 8-Soundkarte probieren, leider dann mit höherer Latenz. Es müsste aber trotzdem auch mit ASIO-Treibern machbar sein, da die Karte Multi-Client-fähig ist. Marian habe ich auch mal angefragt (noch keine Antwort).

Hallo Adi,
damit dürfte der Fehler also eingegrenzt sein: Entweder der Roland DXI oder der Soundkartentreiber zickt. Letzteres glaube ich weniger, sonst liefen auch der MS Wavetable und die Realtracks nicht ohne Störungen. Mglw. harmonieren auch Roland und Kartentreiber nicht miteinander. Umstieg auf MME wäre hier ein Versuch.
Ich rate Dir auch, mal den den Roland zu deinstallieren und dann wieder neu zu installieren.

Ich habe zwischenzeitlich den MME-Treiber verwendet. Das System lief fehlerfrei.
Ich kann jetzt zwar BIAB benutzen, komme aber nicht in den Genuß der niedrigen Latenz der ASIO-Treiber. Die Neuinstallation von Roland werde ich nochmal versuchen. Ich vermute eher, dass es der ASIO-Treiber ist.

Vielen Dank für die Tipps. Die Neuinstallation des Roland VSC müsste bei der BIAB 2009 wohl durch eine komplette Neuinstallation der Software erfolgen. Auf den DVDs finde ich keine eigene Datei Roland VSC. Ich vermute, diese ist in der Setup.exe von BIAB enthalten.
Den o.g. Punkt 8 habe ich berücksichtigt, weil ich in BIAB, Cubase und Samplitude jeweils unterschiedliche Ein- und Ausgänge der Soundkarte verwende. Ich habe also bislang keine definitiv befriedigende Lösung des Problems. Ich warte noch auf die Antwort von Marian. Wenn sonst keine Tipps kommen?

Hallo Adi,
so wie ich Punkt 8 des Marian-ReadMe verstehe, sollst Du BiaB und dem Roland Synthi jeweils andere Kanäle zuordnen. Biab allein reicht nicht um konfliktfrei zu sein. In Deinem Fall also getrenntes Routing für BIAB, Roland, Cubase und Samplitude. Die acht Kanäle der Marian müssten dazu reichen.

Hallo Ralf!
Vielen Dank, ich werde das mal probieren. Die Kanal-Einstellung bei Roland müsste wohl über Start > Systemsteuerung > VSC Settings Window und die folgenden Masken erfolgen. Mal sehen, wie das gehen könnte und ob das was bringt.
Die Antwort vom Support von PGMusic, auf meine mühsam erstellte englischsprachige Darstellung des Problems, bestand aus zwei Sätzen: Ich soll nämlich ein Reset des Roland VSC machen. Das habe ich getan (über den Dxi-Button in BIAB, in Maske dann unten rechts auf den schwarzen Briket Reset drücken, oder woanders?). Alles wirkungslos.
Marian will Tests mit einer Testversion von BIAB machen, denen fiel eigentlich auch nichts Effektives ein. Mal sehen, ob die sich nochmal rühren. Hilfsweise benutze ich den MME-Treiber und spiele zur Beruhigung mein Piano ohne Latenz über einen anderen Verstärker / Box.

Zwischenzeitlich habe ich die Konfiguration mit ASIO-Treibern auf der Soundkarte Marian Marc-8 ausprobiert, also
Samplitude Audio-Ausgang 1-2
Cubase 3-4
BIAB 5-6
Roland VSC 7-8.
Ich habe jetzt alle Kanäle der Multi-Client-fähigen Soundkarte Marc-8 ausgenutzt. Hat wohl auch nicht jeder und trotzdem brachte auch das keinen Erfolg. Wenn ich noch Forte benutzen würde, bräuchte ich wohl 10 Audio-Ausgänge? Gibts denn sonst niemand, der auch Cubase oder andere Sequenzer verwendet. Wie läufts denn da?
Gebe die Hoffnung noch nicht auf.

Hallo Adi,
na ja, die meisten - wie ich auch - haben ja gar nicht das "Vergnügen" mit 8 Ausgängen, auf die sich verschiedene Software unterschiedlich routen lässt. Vielleicht ist ja genau das auch das Problem bei Dir. Die Fehlermöglichkeiten steigen mit der Zahl der Kombinationen und bei 8 AUsgängen sind das eine Menge.
Ich kenne jedenfalls einige Konstellationen, wo sich BiaB, Roland, Cubase und weitere Software den einzig vorhandenen Ausgang einer Soundkarte teilen - ohne irgendwelche Probleme. Warum nimmst Du eigentlich diese strikte Kanal-Trennnung vor? Klar, die Mariantreiber bieten das an. Aber unbedingt notwenig ist das ja nicht. Eigentlich ja nur, wenn an den verschiedenen Ausgängen auch unterschiedliche Verstärker, Aktivboxen oder sonstige Dinge hängen, die Du jeweils unterschiedlich ansteuern willst. Wenn am Ende aber eh alles in dieselbe Endstufe mündet, lohnt der Aufwand ja nicht. Wenn die Software-Pakte nicht parallel laufen, können sie sich m.E. durchaus auch Kanäle teilen.
Offenbar bringt dieses Marian-Feature der getrennten Kanalzuweisung - zuminstest unter ASIO - mehr Probleme als praktischen Nutzen.
Da wie Du schreibst bei MS GS Wavetable MIDI unter ASIO sowie bei MME keine Probleme mit BiaB auftreten, tippe ich weiterhin auf den Marian-Asio-Treiber als Störenfried. Das Marian-ReadME zu Softwaresynthies deutet das ja an.
Versuch doch mal probeweise einen anderen ASIO-Treiber aus wie z.B. ASIO4All.

Nun denn ich Benutze BiaB Cubase Studiocase II Und Logig Platinum 5.2.x Mit Delta 1010 LT Anfänglich Nur soundcarte Onboard dann mit Delta 1010 LT Na ja unter AISO4All hatte es mit Onboatd Sehr Gut Funktioniert, aber seit ich auch über Delta 1010 Aufnehme, ist mir der M-Audio ASIO sehr von Vorteil! Aber ich Denke auch das der ASIO4All sehr Gut Funktioniert ach ja Abelton Live Funktioniert auch noch bei mir und noch ca 5 Andere programme auf musik basierender Verarbeitung! Nun denn Native Instruments werd ich nun Versuchen überall zu Intigrieren. LG Matze

Vielen Dank für die Erfahrungsberichte mit "einfacheren" Systemen. Das müsste doch wohl mit der Marc-8 auch möglich sein. Ich weiß nur noch, dass immer von sogen. "Treiberkonflikten" die Rede war, wenn versch. Systeme darauf zugreifen. Ich habe jetzt den Wissenstand aus dem Forum an Marian gemailt und um Auskunft gebeten.

Our new jazz, funk & blues RealTracks include a groovin’ collection of RealTracks and RealDrums!
