I checked ouit a demo of Alchemy mobile on youtube, and that isn't the droid I'm looking for. (By "theremin-like" I meant that the sounds are very fluid, changing steadily in tone as your finger drags across the screen. I found several similar demos on Youtube, but not the one that was posted here.

hey, that's a pretty interesting! And it is indeed theremin-like, but not in the sense that I meant.

I wasted the whole day yesterday searching the forum archives for words like "APP", "I-PAD", "I-POD", "ANDROID", "JOHN CONLEY" and a few other words that could have been part of the message. Nada. My son will have to find his own music apps.
