(I would not aweat the transitional chord issue, personally.)

And they won't "take everything you own" -- if you are indeed to ever be in violation of copyright with chord sheets for practice purposes, the likely first thing you will know about it will be the "cease and desist" letter from attorneys. Simply pull down the piece in question and you will have complied.
